Jonathan Green Visit

Jonathan Green of WTMJ radio thinks we (senior citizens) should be called "Wisdom Citizens." Everyone at the February 22 presentation agreed. Green stopped to share even more stories with audience members as he left for his afternoon radio stint.

Other Activities

Even with the threat of 6 inches of snow on February 25th, over 80 people crowded Hart Park Senior Center to hear Journal/Sentinel's "In My Opinion" columnist Jim Stingl (left). Eugene Nickel stopped after the talk to ask a few more questions.

On March 5, 2008, Scott Walker helped serve lunch, greeted diners and answered questions at Hart Park Senior Center. He stopped to say hello to retired school teacher Shirley Leonard.

A March 10th program on "Emergency Preparedness for Older Adults" at the Civic Center supplied information on the risks our community faces and how to prepare for them. Judi Parmeter, head of the Wauwatosa Senior Commission, (standing), goes over certain points with Carole Cmeyla, Judy Dawley and Christa Katz, all members of Hart Park Senior Center. The program was co-sponsored by the Senior Commission and the Wauwatosa Health Department.

Red Hatters go Green! Since their meeting fell on St. Patrick's Day, the Red Hatters made an exception and came in GREEN. About to attack the shamrock cupcakes are Sybil Rockwell, Marcella Swiggum, Carol Anderson, and Ruth Heup. The Club meets the 3rd Monday of the month and is always looking for new members. Call Carol Anderson (774-2441) and find out more about Hart Park's Red Hatters.
